AEM Publisher is a similar environment to the Author instance. This is where the finalized content resides. Once the content is finalized and activated by the author, the same content will be available in the Publisher environment. The dispatcher pulls and displays the information to the end users by taking content from the publisher's environment.
The AEM Author & publisher in both environments play a crucial role in delivering content to the end users. AEM Author is responsible for operations such as content preparation, modification, review, and approvals and all these tasks can be done using different tools.
All the features available in the author instance are available in the publisher instance. All the contents activated in the author instance will be made available in the publisher instance and the dispatcher will display content to the end users.
